The Argo M E Aid Society remains active through winter with quilting as its main work. Quilting draws work from Savanna Mt Carroll Chicago and other places. A weekly work schedule features a luncheon on the first Wednesday each month hosted by Anna Carroll Rachel Carleson and Bessie Kenyon. A severe snow storm disrupted deliveries to Mt Carroll and Chadwick routes, but milk from Mt Carroll was eventually transported to Thomson and Chicago. Radio helped relay news, horse traders faced travel hardships, Easter program at the church drew good attendance, and the Shipping Association sent stock to Chicago. Clarence Cooper remains hospitalized but improving. Leota Carroll has joined Reynolds Wire Co in Dixon. various local residents visited relatives over Easter.
