Coolidge Home Economics Club Activities Highlight Doll Dress Project
The August meeting at Mrs. Don Simmons home featured a sewing demo by Bobby Carlton on modern machine progressions. The club planned doll dress projects for Salvation Army and a Fall Flower Show at Colquitt County Fair Grounds. Richard Singletary was named a Duke Loyalty Fund class agent. James Faircloth joined Georgia Southwestern College as an assistant professor. local clubs donated curtains to Southwestern State Hospital Unit 407.

Duplicate Bridge Club Set To Meet At Downtown Inn
The Duplicate Bridge Club will meet at 7 30 p m tonight at the Downtown Motor Inn. Last week winners were Albert Turner with Mrs Frank Moody first, Mr and Mrs Matt Friedlander second, Dexter Lowry with Mrs Mamie Johnson third, and Mr and Mrs Jessie Petty fourth. Members who took part in a Tallahassee three day sectional tournament attended. Winners not available. All members and prospective members are urged to attend.
