Raleigh N C Sept 22 AP prices for smoking leaf and lug grades declined as the first week of auction sales in the Carolinas Virginia flue cured belt ended. Most drops were 1 to 2 per hundred pounds while some orange leaf and primings rose 1 to 2. Deliveries slowed to normal and sales were fairly heavy with lower grades fluctuating on the Carolina border belt.
