Bainbridge Ga Sept 21 Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Post G2 opened their new year with a cab meeting at Mrs E W Cox home. New officers took over duties led by president Mrs Lloyd Rich with plans for a memorial fountain at the Legion Home and promotion of the Heroes Phone Fund. The next meeting is set for the second Tuesday each month at 3 30 in the Community House room with 20 members already qualified for 1944 45.

He spoke about his service with boys in the military for nearly two years after duties at Rainoridge base and Maxwell Field. Present were Roy Jones, Margaret T. Graft, and Camp Rucker guest Pfe. Wb. 5S. Parker. A Rhode Island oyster protection law from 1766 is noted.
