Bainbridge Ga September 18 The Chamber of Commerce notes from Atlantic Coast Line Railroad figures that Bainbridge ranked second only to Blackshear Savannah Waycross Pearson and Moultrie in visitors among twenty five cities. 1336 visitors counted with 200 more after checkers removed. Weather hindered turnout but the county frontier farmers showed strong interest in exhibits and lectures.

Officers were elected including recording secretary Neil Brooks and treasurer W D Davis who reported the treasury total of 115 86. The program theme is Georgia with two arborvitaes donated in memory of Dr Sigo Ehrlich. An informative talk on the Structure of Georgia Federation of Woman's Clubs followed.

Bainbridge Georgia reports funeral services for Sonja Mae Hammonds shot and killed by her father Josh Hammonds. Services held Friday September 17 at Mt Pleasant Church with Rev Fred Woodham and Rev Allen Drake assisting. Player Funeral Home coordinated arrangements.
Bainbridge Georgia December 18. Billy Henley McKinnon three year old child died Friday morning at home on Calhoun street after several days illness. Survived by his mother and father Mr and Mrs H L McKinnon and two sisters Lillian and Marie. Funeral services held at 7 30 am with Rev R E Zachart officiating. Interment at Enterprise Church Clay county. Player Funeral Home in charge.
