Churches Plan Trinity Sunday Observance in Remington

The 13th Sunday after Trinity will be observed at St. Thomas Episcopal Church Remington and Dawson Streets with Holy Communion at 8 a m and a 10 30 a m family service. Activities include Youth and Senior choirs resuming, Bible study sessions, and a Sept 17 Christian Stewardship seminar led by Dr Noah N Longdale Jr at St Johns Moultrie.

Dawson Street Church Set for Sunday Services and Baptisms

Dawson Street Methodist Church will begin church school at 9 45 tomorrow morning. The 11 o clock service features a song solo by Mrs J Q Jones and a sermon titled A Workman With No Need to be Ashamed by Rev William F Childres. An infant baptism will be held for Lisa Marie Breese and Karyl Lyn Stewart. The Commission on Education meets Wednesday at 8 pm in the fellowship hall. A chicken supper is planned for Saturday September 10 from 5 pm to 7 pm with an evening fellowship at 6 and an evangelical song service led by Bill Heisler.
