Auxvasse Missouri September 3 4 John Wesley Kennon age 3 was missing since Saturday afternoon in Callaway county woods. He was found alive about a mile from the town walking from the woods into a field spotted by a searching party. The child was barefoot in rompers and appeared cold hungry but in good condition.
Coca Cola Co reports net earnings for the June quarter of 3,972,176 dollars or 4.03 a share on 985,900 shares, up from 2,106,332 dollars or 2.13 a share in the March quarter. Six months ended June 20 earned 6,078,508 dollars or 6.16 a share, versus 5,508,466 or 5.53 in 1934.

Miss Marjorie Herring and James Herring recover well after tonsil surgery. Dr H P Rackley’s son Jimmy undergoes tonsil operation at Archbold Memorial Hospital. George H Parks of Camilla Ga. leaves Archbold after a three week stay following surgery. Mrs P M Massey and Miss Grace Massey visit Washington with Miss Evelyn Gwaltney joining to Macon. Evelyn Chastain also accompanies them to Macon. Judge H W Hopkins reports a trip through the lake country noting heavy inflow into Lake Iamonia from the Ochlocknee river.
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Lambert and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Lambert left Sunday by motor reaching Atlanta for several days with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lambert before continuing into North Carolina and Tennessee.
Storm warnings remained along the Gulf coast with Punta Rassa reporting a falling barometer of 29.25 and an east southeast wind of 60 mph. Fort Myers recorded 50 mph southeast winds and a 29.30 inch reading as the weather moved through the region.
Fort Myers Florida September 3 UP D M Cox driver of a Miami bus reached noon reporting no damage along the Tamiami Trail carved by the tropical storm. The wind gusted to 40 miles but no damage seen in Everglades Naples and other trail towns. Homestead citrus crops were reportedly devastated with avocados possibly 90 percent damaged and other fruits 30 to 75 percent damaged. Water stood six inches in yards.
Havana reports seas abated and the hurricane threat to the island subsided. Shipping resumed with normal activity as the S. S. Transylvania arrived from the Bahamas and the Cuba steamer finally set off after a 26 hour delay.
