London reports indicate a large Dublin riot with 25 killed and many wounded. Attacks targeted military officers in scattered lodgings and at Croke Park where a football match was underway. Armored cars and police pounded the city as trains halted and terror spread.
Violent scenes erupted in the House of Commons during Ireland questions as Nationalist Joseph Devlin clashed with a Union member, prompting the sitting to be suspended.
Sir Hamar Greenwood stated in the House of Commons that recent discoveries reveal plans of paid assassins aimed at both Ireland and England. A Dublin disorder Sunday left 26 dead and 70 in hospital after a wave of shootings in Croke Park.
