Guests Mrs Wini fred Wardell Mrs Lola Spooner and Mr Edson Meckenzie attended. plans were made for a Christmas dance and about 38 members and guests were present.
About thirty members attended the Junior Sportsman's Club gathering at the Cainbridge club house. David Bryan presided as Cheney Griffin read rules. Guests included Miss Frances Rich and Mr. Charles Chapman. New members introduced and prizes awarded after dinner plus plans for a Christmas event.
Mrs H H Felty entertained the Bainbridge bridge club at her Broughton street home on Tuesday afternoon. Chrysanthemums framed the living room tables for bridge. High score went to Mrs Grace Sages, with Mrs J W Castleberry second. Refreshments included Coca Colas toasted cheese sandwiches and olives. Attending were Mrs Laurel H Tonge Mrs Grace Baggs Mrs J W Castleberry and the hostess.
Mrs J T Singletary and daughter Wreynelle 16 badly hurt when a car driven by a drunk man collided with their vehicle just outside Tallahassee. Mrs Singletary in grave condition. Wynelle suffers a broken collarbone and head injuries. The other driver also injured. both vehicles heavily damaged. The accident occurred on the highway into Tallahassee near the broadcasting station.
Cairo Georgia reports the death of Colie Green Stephens a distinguished pioneer at 6 am from a heart attack at his South Broad Street home. Funeral services by Forsyth Brothers will be held tomorrow conducted by Rev W I McTier with interment in Cairo Cemetery. Born April 1 1868 in Orangeburg County South Carolina he was married to Leila O Kelly on November 3 1895 in Ashburn Georgia.

Aberdeen Washington resident Jim Clark shot a 200 pound bear that had roamed the outskirts two months robbing orchards and frightening residents. The bear fled up a river bank tree as Clark flashed a light and Edith Olson grabbed a shotgun. One shot was fired.
