Church to dedicate new Methodist hymnals at service
The Melavulsy Church will dedicate 300 new Methodist hymnals at the 11 a.m. service next Sunday. Dr Henry S Books pastor says the ceremony marks the first dedication in 30 years. Donors are identified in book plates including 125 in memory of the late Rev P Ellis Muller who died last January while superintendent of the Americas district.

Thanksgiving Day Worship Service at First Presbyterian
A city wide service will be held on Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Jack E. Matthews will preach the sermon with Rev. Rutledge E. Courtney presiding.
