Uninsured Motorist Protection Expands in Georgia Law
A new Georgia law requires auto liability policies to add Uninsured Motorist Protection after January 1. It covers up to 100000 for death or injuries to a single person, 20000 for injuries to multiple people, and 5000 for property damage with a 250 deductible. The coverage auto applies if the liable driver is insolvent within a year of an accident.

Archbold Administrator Highlights Hospital Advances
Archbold Memorial Hospital administrator Patrick I. Fenlon told the Rotary Club that hospitals have greatly extended life expectancy over 25 years. He cited reduced infant mortality, prenatal care improvements, more births in hospitals, and advances in heart, plastic, bone surgery, organ transplants, radiology, drugs, and lab techniques. He noted life expectancy rising from 47 in 1900 to 69 in 1960 and said last year’s average hospital cost was 28.50 per day with 38 percent for supplies and 62 percent for staff. The hospital operates in the black with a 1963-64 budget of 1.5 million, praising the board, medical staff, and volunteers.

State Cancer Official Praises Action and Warns of Indifference
