Graduation for 24 dogs at Thomasville Dog Fanciers School
The Thomasville Dog Fanciers Association hosts a Dog Obedience School graduation for 24 canines with a public ceremony at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Southwestern State Hospital gm. President Mrs. Joe Craig Wiles notes the event showcases learned skills. Earlier, American Legion Post 31 held a Veterans Day breakfast and cemetery ceremony with Central High School band playing. The veterans monument bears the inscription All Gave So Much Some Gave All on its 13 foot marble sides.

Rezoning Comes Up Tonight
The Thomasville Thomas County Planning Commission voted 4 to 0 to recommend rezoning about 72 acres between Colton Avenue and Grady Street from R-1 to M for Metal Products Co. The move faces the City Commission tonight with a buffer wall required to protect nearby homes.
