Rezoning Requests on Dawson Street Rejected by Board
The Thomasville Thomas County Planning Commission rejected a request to rezone the 200 block of N Dawson St from multifamily to commercial by a 4 3 vote tied 3 3 when Chairman James A Anderson Jr cast the deciding vote. The panel also rejected a Clay Street rezoning near Hardaway and N Hansell Sts The Church of Christ area rezoning was denied as well The board recommended a one year sewer work extension for Terrell Singletary and approved several zoning changes including Heritage Wood and the Patterson subdivision final plat. A gospel sing is set for Coolidge Church of God Saturday at 7 30 PM featuring the Singing Bathers.
