Keeping Up Retail Merchants To Close For Veterans Day
Thomasville retailers will close from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in observance of Veterans Day. The Chamber of Commerce executive vice president noted most stores will close for the two hours. A vote approved Christmas season hours starting Nov. 20 with many stores extending Friday night hours to 9 p.m. beginning Nov. 29 and again on Dec. 23. Most shops plan to close by 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
