Brooks County voters in Quitman Georgia approved joining the South Georgia Soil Conservation District with overwhelming support. The plan proceeds to amend bylaws to include Brooks County, then form a three farmer local committee as part of program planning. Soil technicians will arrive soon to begin soil mapping.
