He is married and formerly lived in Thomaston and Schloqnee. Mrs Derwood Herring has word her brother Pvt DeWitt Horn of the U S Army in Africa has been wounded in North Africa. Ralph Williams of the Bainbridge Air Base has been promoted to technician fifth class from private first class. Williams is a pharmacist and was owner of Cash Drug Store before joining the Army.
Donalsonville Georgia May 29 D F Wurst county War Bond Committee chairman says the county surpassed its May bond quota of 4000 by 25950. Local schools sponsored the drive with student projects and drives. The Jeep fund raised 172180. Total school contributions for the year reach 15153.
