Bainbridge Ca May 28 The Citizens Bank and Trust Company received a ten thousand dollar check from Winn Lovett Grocery Co of Jacksonville Fla to purchase an equivalent amount of war bonds for Decatur County's quota. Lovett's Grocery Co has participated in past drives. Local manager is Norwood Belcher.
Bainbridge Ga May 28 formal graduation exercises honored 47 graduates of the Class of 1945 Friday evening. The program featured piano by Mrs L Smith invocations and orations by Edna Lou Broome Evelyn Smith and Edwin Patterson with Alma Mater by W Vance Custer and closing prayer by Rev J Jo Ward. Bainbridge Georgia May 28 members of the Bainbridge High School graduating class were complimented at an informal dance at the Stephen Decatur Hotel last Friday after the graduation exercises. Mothers of the graduate were hostesses and members of the parent class were invited guests.
