Chattanooga Tennessee May 18 three taxi drivers were shot but not seriously hurt in an alleged ride attempt. Joe Shipley of Rainbow Company said R H Davis and Ernest Wright were wounded after firing on him at a street intersection. Shipley claimed a decoy accompanied him, while Davis and Wright said a pistol discharged while being cleaned.
