Bainbridge Ga May 17 Mrs Maynar Clark and Mrs Edmund Melhado far from home for a time were guests of honor at a Dutch luncheon given at the home of Mrs I D Richardson. The gathering began at eleven with social hour followed by an outdoor buffet luncheon. Afternoon bridge and games provided diverting entertainment.
The hostess Mrs Francken held a Tuesday luncheon at East Shotwell Street in honor of Miss Jean Grollman the bride elect Mixed flowers decorated the living room and dining table and a crystal bowl with sweet peas formed the centerpiece The honoree received a gift among guests including Mrs Harry Grollman Mrs Joseph Grollman and Mrs Annie Grollman

Atlanta May 17 AP The fool distribution administration reports sufficient peanuts to carry the edible trade until next crop. FDA notes demand remains high with few peanuts available for shelling outside edible trade and limited government priority orders covered by shellers.
Prices held at ceiling levels with Spanish quoted at 169 dollars per ton and runners at 154 dollars per ton on country point. Some F. O. B. per pound sales appeared: Spanish No 1 1444 cents and runners No 1 14 cents, No 2 around 14 cents. Early writing inks used lampblack mixed with glue or gum.
