Dior’s Paris salons on Avenue Montaigne display couture gowns priced from $1,000 and up while ready to wear runs $200 to $500. The Miss Dior line targets younger shoppers with accessories, luggage, scarves and other Dior-branded goods vastly expanding the label beyond couture. Export purchases carry a 17 percent discount and a rear men’s shop offers suede coats and made to order suits.
The Pelham clubs selected officers for 1969 with Rose Tilman as vice president and Mary Ketheyn as secretary. Joy Collins serves as treasurer and Ruth MecGallard oversees projects along with Debbie Caldwell and Ann Griffin in publicity. Ellie Bae Sees will head desk duties and chaplain Mere Cage is named TVG correspondent.
