The Thomasville Teachers Assn backs Plan II by unanimous vote with East Side PTA Junior High PTA and Senior Woman's Club also approving Plan II.

Nathan West a Thomas County man aged 80 died last night at his residence in the Patten Community apparently of pneumonia. Sheriff Callice Law identified him as the resident who lived alone. Coroner Lynn B. Kirkland noted neighbors said he had been ill for some time. Funeral services set for Friday with Kirkland-Cray-Hughes Home for Funerals in charge. Interment in Salem Cemetery near Pavo.
