Milledgeville Ga March 10 O A Thaxon faculty member at the Georgia State College for Women for 23 years died yesterday after a long illness. Thaxon 63 a graduate of Columbia and Mercer Universities served as superintendent of Colquitt county schools and as president of Norman Institute. He is survived by his widow and a son Captain O A Thaxon Jr.
