Youth jailed after daring flight up Florida coast

A 22 year old J B Winters Jr was jailed after a dawn escape up the Florida east coast. He disarmed a Vero Beach officer and forced a drive northward, then was captured near Sebastian. Police say two pistols were found on him and he admitted taking a pistol and later discarding it. He faces armed robbery charges.
