Warrants Issued in Moultrie For Alleged Assault

In Moultrie Georgia warrants were issued for Dan Humphreys and Cyril Simmons two young white men on three charges of attempting to assault a young woman. The incident began when the girl was lured from her boarding house with a ruse claiming her father wanted her to return home. The suspects reportedly took her in a car to a road south of Moultrie where the assault was alleged to have occurred. Authorities are seeking the two men as the girl escaped and flagged down a passerby who called police.
