Denmark demonstrated a four silicon disc solar battery powering a storage unit a small motor and a telephone using a sun lamp in place of sunlight. He noted a 400 unit solar battery already powers telephones in the Americas area with strong success and cited current solar energy cost around 15 dollars per kilowatt hour plus expectations of future reductions.
