The 1869 church was built with later additions and aims to beautify the structure when conditions are favorable.

A violin concert by Maureen Moon and readings by Velma Cooper with solos by W D Stewart are planned. Lion Joseph Grollman will serve as master of ceremonies. Officers to be installed include EB Harrison president and W S Waite Jr 1st vice president among others with S Marvin Griffin presenting awards.

Bainbridge Georgia June 20 F H Francken owner of Francken's Department Store has installed an air conditioning unit on Water Street as a convenience to customers. The store is the first Bainbridge department store to offer air conditioning and follows recent renovations making it one of the most modern shops in the area.
