Cairo Ga June 17 two wiseght leaf tobacco curing barns using propane gas were installed on Everett Burroughs farm northeast of Cairo the first in the county. Burroughs plans to begin curing his crop late this week. Tests of the new equipment may interest growers as bottled gas could yield excellent tobacco quality. Bottled gas may also aid syrup cooking as an alternative to wood fires.
