Meigs Ga June 10 engagement announced by Mrs Trudiv Pierson Cone of Meigs. Miss Elizabeth Idella Cone to wed Julian Harold Daniels of Pavo Ga on June 15. She is a Meigs High School and Southern Business University graduate and has worked for Colonial Warehouse Co.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Daniels of Pavo. He served three years with the armed services and since his separation, he has been employed by the Minix Woodwork Shop of Moultrie.
Navy Lt. (sg) Jack Hall of Cairo departs with wife and daughter Mary Frances for Washington to begin doctrination training before heading to London for duty with the Admiralty Staff. Hall is noted as a veteran of many combat missions during the war.
