Meterman Survives Deadly Rattlesnake Encounter
Lucious C. Robinson Jr., a meter reader for the City Water and Light Dept, was on routine rounds at a Horseshoe Lake mobile home park when he stepped on a 5 ft rattlesnake. He grabbed the snake by the head, killed it with a stick, and described the incident as his first rattlesnake encounter after seven years with the city.
