Prevailing Derby and Preakness results hint at a two horse finish, with hopes for a larger crowd and rival entries from Brook lyn, Flying Scot, Melodist and Sceneshifter plus Vamoose from Falaise stable.
R. D. Smith pitched for Augusta allowing 15 hits while Roees bach and Dunkle for Columbus held the opponent to eight hits combined.
