The church led by Jos S. Cook lists 10:00 a.m. Sunday School, 11:15 a.m. morning worship with special music, and sermons titled In Safety First a Safe Policy For a Christian and The Unpardonable sin. Evening and midweek services are announced with worship at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The building features Nell Pringle as choir director and invites worshippers before work.

The midweek study on the Personality of Jesus at First Presbyterian Church resumes after a brief break, with Rev Ausley C Moore leading two more sessions.
The pastor announces summer evening services will run thirty minutes with fifteen minutes of prayer and praise and a fifteen minute sermon. Congregations have shown improvement, and more worshipers are welcome each Sunday. Wheaton College Crusaders of Chicago arrive Monday at 8 30 PM for an evangelistic program featuring quartets duets solos and testimonies.

Thomasville friends welcome Rev and Mrs Norman Williamson home from a year in the United States furlough after eight years in Japan. Williamson, former dean of a Japanese Baptist college, speaks at the morning service and Mrs Williamson, Miss Fannie L. McCall of Metcalfe, speaks at the evening service. Public invited.
The Crusaders of Wheaton College, Wheaton Illinois, will present a program at the Methodist Church Monday night at 8 30. The five member group tours the central southern and eastern states visiting Philadelphia New York City and Boston covering about 10000 miles. Leader J Lester Harish from Boston is a baritone. speaker Robert Strain a Philadelphia Bible School graduate. Fred Fisher from Vancouver Washington first tenor and pianist. David Allen from Bloomfield New Jersey second tenor and cornetist. Philip Mack from Wheaton second bass and trombonist.

Highlights include Mrs Elizabeth Moore visiting her brother C D Swim, Miss Helen Wilkinson visiting J R Mahler, Mrs Carrie Peel a Warsaw guest, and Mrs W S Anderson with children in Edgefield.
Mr and Mrs W L Ramsey and son of Atlanta join Mrs Belle Elrod of Ausburn for a weekend with Mr and Mrs J A Chastain. Mrs Ralph L Howell of St Augustine Fla and Mrs G T Anderson of Montgomery arrive to spend several days with Mr and Mrs Lee B Kelly and family.
The Commercial Bank will move to the old home of the Commercial Bank with the offices of W. C. Patterson liquidating agent for the Bank of Thomasville and the Peoples Savings Bank. Dividend checks and all business will be conducted from the new location starting Monday.

President Roosevelt, aboard the U S S Houston en route to Hawaii, named Murray Latimer as chairman of the new railroad retirement board and appointed three members of the national mediation board William M Leiserson James M Carmall and John Iarmody to oversee rail disputes He planned to designate two more retirement posts after further talks with railroad executives and labor leaders. The president spoke to the crew during a seasplash morning on deck and noted progress toward resolving west coast maritime strike negotiations.
In Los Angeles a weekend recess saw Dave Allen and Miss Gloria Marsh vigorously deny state charges in the Hollywood morals trial. Allen, on leave from the Central Casting Bureau, and Miss Marsh, wife of a bus driver, countered that any alleged immorality centered on Miss June DeLong, the state's star witness. DeLong appeared in a dress room and, according to the defendants, was the sole participant in the improprieties.
