Thomas County Heritage Book Arrives With Bicentennial Tie
Advance copies of a 260 page Thomas County Heritage tracing county life from Indian times to today arrive at publication HQ in Thomasville. Roy Treffits leads the eight month project funded by the Bicentennial-Sesquicentennial Commission with 10 000 copies printed for homes churches and groups. Sales raise funds for future events and churches while 225 photographs complement the history. Representatives may collect copies July 9 at 442 S Hansell St.
