A Friday meeting of fifty four citizens formed a temporary organization to build another ice plant in the city. They elected eight rectors to apply for the charter and set up preliminaries, with permanent directors to be chosen later. Directors include W. Jupchurch, A. Stanaland, J. T. Dixon, J. L. Floyd, A. Bennett, B. S. Saith, and M. Sampson. They plan to locate on a railroad site and begin work at once. Capital stock is twelve thousand five hundred dollars with possible increases.
