C G Carter, Thomas County tax receiver, was at Meigs City Hall Feb 16 to take 1968 tax returns. Paul Goetz and daughter Ellen Goetz of Jacksonville NC were guests here. Charles Sharpe returned from West Palm Beach, Me and Mrs C T Jackson and daughter Jackie visited Chattanooga en route for vacation. J L Tison of Camilla were Meigs visitors Monday. Howard Bailey of Ocilla transacted business here. Miss Jean Anne Harvey returned to Decatur from a visit here. Mr and Mrs John Butler and daughter Joy of Pelham visited.
