County Extension Service reshuffled into Southwest District
The University of Georgia Extension Service realigned Thomas County into the Southwest District. Kenneth Beasley heads the local staff with four agents and two secretaries plus aides. District leaders from across Georgia note the change widens services to both rural and urban residents aided by new statewide administration and a shift toward inclusive programs beyond farming.
