La Cubana City Suburb Proposed Near Thomasville
Correspondent from Thomasville describes a new suburb La Cubana City to be built near the town. A three mile long two foot wide street will cut through the Thomasville Real Estate Investment and Banking Company property. A street railway line from La Cubana City to Broad Street is planned, possibly electric, with routes down Broad to Jackson and to the Savannah Florida and Western depot. The Mac Ty (Macs Tatyre) tract of 800 acres forms the main estate, laid out with north south avenues named Moraes San Rafael Bustamante and streets numbered north south, First street adjacent to Jackson.
