Gray Ga February 12 AP Nurse Pat Tangerfora a former Jones County public health nurse won the Jones County Board of County Commissioners race in a primary unofficial returns show 7016 votes to 788 for the next male candidate. She previously operated a dental and tonsil clinic for local children and built strong community ties including among Black families. She campaigned without typical political prerequisites and rode mud roads in a bright costume and costly car.
