Brasher named Assistant Professor at New Orleans Seminary
Eugene Brasher longtime minister of music at First Baptist Church will join New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as Assistant Professor of Conducting effective Aug. 1. He holds a Doctor of Performing Arts candidacy at Florida State University and a bachelor’s from Stetson, with prior posts in Miami and Huntsville and choral work with Robert Shaw in 1967-68. His wife Mrs. Brasher is a music graduate and an organist pianist vocalist. they have two daughters Julia 12 Celia 9.
