Serious disorders erupted at Lodz as 25,000 workers walked out at a lace factory. Strikers prevented some employees from returning to work and a military patrol fired on the crowd. Firing was reported to continue into the afternoon.
Warsaw on February 3 reports an official list of more than eight hundred killed during the disturbances with many unidentified bodies in city cemeteries. In Lodz, February 8, troops clashed with strikers. six were killed and forty eight wounded as soldiers fled.

Dublin correspondent reports in Savannah News that Miss Hattie Daffin wed James H. Beachman at Dr. A. T. Summerlin home. Rev. George W. Mathews officiated. The couple, soon after, began a bridal tour to Havana and Florida before settling at the Belleview avenue residence in Dublin.
Ordinary Jones held February court and arranged guardianship matters. M. A. Fleetwood discharged as administrator of Jos R. Moore and granted leave to sell land of W A Barrow. Mrs. Missouri Houston made permanent administrator of her estate. Willie Way Bailey granted 12 months support. Mrs. A E Baker guardian for Grace Wilson granted 12 months support from J B R Wilson estate.
At seven last night a chimney fire on Seixas Street prompted a quick response from the fire wagon, though observers say the alarm may have been misrouted by a faulty telephone call amid muddy conditions.
The court delays ruling on the Clyatt peonage case argued by Capt. W. M Hammond. A recess means decision will not come before February 20. The lengthy deliberation suggests judges wrestle with complex issues of state versus federal authority. Senators Bacon and Congressman Brantley join Capt Hammond’s team in the high profile matter.
The school board announces committee selections for the coming year. Chairmen include Finance with Miller Palin Pittman, Building with Lester Pittman Hutchingson Curriculacy, and Teachers with Hopkins Palin Lester. Pupils and Discipline lists Hopkins Hutchingson Miller.
The Georgia Society of New York plans its annual Waldorf Astoria banquet on February 17. Thomasville booklets will be distributed, with Secretary Hopkins sending a healthy bundle in advance. The event draws hundreds, with Governor Tarte and Chancellor Hoiwill among expected speakers.
A vacancy in the Thomasville postoffice will be filled by an examination on February 25 for clerk or carrier positions. Applicants must send name and address to the Secretary of the 5th U.S. Civil Service District Atlanta Ga before 4 p.m. February 20.
Mr Wilhum Hardcastle and Mrs G B Sve yue of New York City, who stayed at Finey Woods last year, are again domiciled there for the winter.
H. C. Conner announces the Boys Band from the Georgia Industrial Home will appear in Thomasville. They have been favored by local audiences before. Since the founder Dr. W. E. Mumford has passed away the group will perform on Saturday February 11.
New parlor car service runs Thomasville to Augusta with a 6 15 a m departure and 6 45 p m arrival in Augusta the same day. Return travels depart Augusta at 10 80 p m with a through sleeper to Waycross arriving 6 05 a m. day car to Thomasville arrives 10 20. See ticket agent or T J Bottoms in Thomasville Ga.

City officials opened bids on January 24 1905 for supply of stock feed to municipal stables. Bids from local merchants Jim Wallace and A R Clark were read aloud with estimated annual quantities and delivery terms.
