Vashti Superintendent Bill Wetmore told about 50 local women that Vashti Auxiliary will push community involvement in the school staff morale and student pride. He praised the staff and student council and noted funds will aid renovation and maintenance. Thomasville Art Guild hosts a library exhibit featuring Mrs. Sidney Stinson's watercolor and ink scenes of late 19th and early 20th century houses. The display reflects Bicentennial and Sesquicentennial themes and runs on the library mezzanine through February 28.
