Egypt Explorer Dr. Shelton recalls 1920 expedition
Dr. W. A. Shelton, now teaching at the Christian Workers School in Thomasville, recounts the 1920 Chicago University expedition to Egypt and Mesopotamia. He describes desert travel, hospitality, a tense capture by tribal leaders, and discoveries including Nabpolasser cylinder, Queen Tiyi jar, and 39 royal scarabs now in Emory Museum.
