Secretary Wallace of the Agriculture Department told Boston audiences that farm prices hit new lows in the nation’s history and that reduced production would lift prices later. He urged swift steps to steer agriculture through the crisis with minimal damage to the economy and to help industries reliant on farm support.
Atlanta reports a reduction in all loan classes from five and a half to five percent as announced today by district officials.
Dublin December 19 Dail Eireann met before noon to consider motions for and against the Anglo Irish peace treaty. The House adjourned at 1 pm to reconvene at 3 30 pm with indications that speeches would continue through tomorrow. Kean of Longford urged substance over shadows.
The public session discussed the Anglo Irish peace treaty. Speaker MacEnill opened the meeting as Dail members debated the treaty adoption with Arthur Griffith proposing the motion and Commandant Mc supporting.

New York December 17 counsel for Mrs Lillian Raizen who shot and killed Dr Abraham Glickstein in his Brooklyn office last Saturday conferred with four attorneys to decide on defense strategy. Raizen is jailed on Raymond Street while Miss Olivia Stone a nurse who killed Elias Kinkaid aided another inmate in a prior Brooklyn case.
Mrs Lillian Raisen who shot Dr Abraham Glickstein in his Brooklyn office last Saturday was questioned in a two hour examination by District Attorney Lewis. Attorneys for Raisen claim letters show she was unbalanced and obsessed with removing the doctor from her life. Aliensists will continue exams today to decide if a sanity commission should be sought.
A major blaze at Langley Field in Newport News Virginia destroyed several large frame hangars and a Martin bomber along with most tools at the station. Estimated loss exceeds two hundred thousand dollars with the fire’s origin still undetermined.

Waycross Georgia December 19 six hundred Atlantic Coast Line shops workers in this city will be laid off indefinitely on December 23 under an issued order. All locomotive department workers except round house and running repairsmen plus all car repair department employees hired since July 1 are laid off. The order affects all Coast Line system shops.
