London reports that President Wilson will arrive in London next Thursday. If his plans hold, Boxing Day will see a holiday across the empire and business at a standstill on December 26. King George and the royal family may stay at Sandringham unless the president’s arrival alters the itinerary.

England supports destroying prizes while France Portugal and others are to approve. American naval stations will aid merchant ships for at least a year at Brest Gibraltar and the Azores.
Senator Lodge introduced a resolution asking the State Department to inform the Senate whether the American peace commissioners advocate destroying German warships and other enemy property and, if so, by what authority. The measure was referred to the foreign relations committee without discussion.
Amsterdam authorities report that three Krupp munitions directors at Essen have been arrested by a revolutionary committee. Bransen Berger, inventor of the Big Berthas, is among those seized. The item notes a reported arrest without confirmation from official channels.
