Mr. H. D. Atkinson announced he secured the contract to erect a $15,000 English type home for Mr. W. H. Saunders of Little Rock. The house will be built at Indian Springs near Miccosukee, Florida, with plumbing and heating handled by the Georgia-Florida Plumbing and Heating Company, manager E. A. Jones.

Dawes Construction Expands with Alabama Sand and Gravel Plant
Dawes Construction and Supply Company opens a large new plant at Safford Alabama on the Chattahoochee river for cement building sand and gravel. The plant can produce about 1000 tons daily of building sand and 500 tons of gravel and plans to expand as demand grows.
