Veterans and Auxiliary honor November birthdays and Christmas pageant
A November birthday party for veterans hosted in the Recreation Hall featured cakes, cookies, and coffee served by the American Legion Auxiliary 222. The event included skits, monologues, and a vocal quartet, with candles and crystal decor on the serving table. The Meigs Color Schools opened the holiday season with a Christmas pageant titled Noome and Worship, directed by J Jadys Davis and other staff, including a violin and piano accompaniment. Red Cross volunteers assisted with sewing and writing projects in infirmary visits, and horse races sponsored by the W F.W. of Thomasville and Post Auxiliary drew a large crowd of veterans.
