An 18 year old girl Mary Brown is reported abducted near Oxon Hill Maryland by two rough dressed men. Police and residents swarmed the area with eight state troopers and detectives from Baltimore. Her sister Lucy 15 described the incident and fled to safety amid a snow covered field. FBI involvement considered but no cross state line or seven day rule yet.
Paris Dec. 1 Premier Daladier announced he will call parliament into session in December and seek approval of his policies. He has ordered a three year state of economic mobilization to push through his program, counting on Radical Socialist allies and right wing groups for support against communists and socialists who opposed the economic decree laws.
