From Bainbridge Georgia on August 8 1902 Captain Tiplett reports a superb opening game of the season with a final score of three to nothing for Bainbrings in a contest portraying strong play by COGURAN manager.
Acting Policeman Martin seized a white man named Rough McGraw on a chicken theft charge. In the buggy, officers found more than a dozen bottles of whiskey and two pistols. McGraw is jailed on the chicken charge. no evidence yet of whiskey sales. He is said to be wanted near Pavo for robbing chicken roasts between Pavo and Boston.
