Donalsonville residents welcomed visitors from Florida as Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie McGhini and their son Ivey from Panama City visited for the weekend. Sammie Parker joined them for a two week visit, while Mrs. L. W. Barber accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Branch Mosely returned to Miami for three weeks. Miss Delia Jernigan and her mother Mrs. J. W. Jernigan spent the week there.

In Moultrie a Southwest Georgia Presbytery meeting granted Donalsonville Presbyterian Church full time status. Cairo Church also titled a full time church while Climax Cuba Attapulgus and Dickey churches were grouped. Climax owns a home for presчhers and the serving minister remains.
The Rev. Cliffoth Liddell will continue servicing Climax and Og churches until the new pastor arrives. Rev. Mr Liddell, pastor in Donalsonville, spends the month at Montreat Assembly grounds, suspending services and Women's Auxiliary meetings during his absence.
In Redlands a butcher returned $5,000 found by a customer in a package and exchanged it for steaks. In San Francisco Myron Jacobsen seeks extra mileage stamps and drops a pocket coupon for 100 gallons of gas. In Palestine a dice game ends when Rev Joe Berry picks up $7.50 and donates it to the First Christian church collection.
