Camp a former state legislator and cousin to District Attorney Lawrence Camp rose from Farm and textile work to law.
In Atlanta on Aug 2 W H Wilson, lunch stand operator, won an unclaimed baggage trunk for 4 dollars. He opened it and found bonds and securities valued at over 1 000 dollars. Railroad officials say the sale was valid and Wilson will pursue his claim to the trunk and its contents.
Washington reports that despite the house killing the lending bill, Congress has authorized at least 900 million dollars for agencies tied to the program. Proposed increases cover Public Works loans, highways, rural electrification, farm tenant loans, foreign loans, railroad equipment, and housing, with details on how the funds would be used and loan terms.
