Washington April 26 AP House Military committee members outlined latest Selective Service figures showing future draft calls likely to draw mostly men under 26. They noted older men would be called if strategic plans demand larger monthly inductions, with about 1.5 million fathers and 750 thousand non-fathers in class 1-A as of April 1 and 65 thousand to 70 thousand aged 17 or turning 18 each month. The plan targets about 1.385 million total through December 31, averaging 154 thousand monthly, drawn from teens, younger 1-A men, deference revisions, and a few older workers. The Naval Air Transport Service routes over 65,000 miles on scheduled hops.

Louise Jones led Bible Lesson discussion King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Members recited poetry. Flower Day plans include cleaning trophies and delivering flowers to sick and shut-ins. Tri-Hi-Y conference in Camilla May 5 with Joe Roland Betty June Thompson Jean Howard Jean Davis Gloria Nurst and Louise Jones attending. Club donated to Cancer Fund.
Donalsonville Ga April 26 The Junior Girls Auxiliary met Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church with nine members present. Mrs A J Godfrey led the group and Catherine Bryant Circle furnished refreshments. In a brief business session the girls studied Forward Steps for promotion. Attending were Miriam Figt Miriam Milton Nellie Jo Howard Ceulia Franklin Ante Raley Annie Jo Simpson Reta Godfrey Betty Jane Coleman.
Donalsonville Georgia April 36 Seminole high school seniors visited Dothan to have class pictures taken. Betty June Tacapson earned the highest four year average and will be valedictorian, Jean Davis is salutatorian, Joy Reland and Louise Jones adjudged as historian and prophet.
Donalsonville Georgia April 26 Mrs Arden Parker led the Presbyterian Auxiliary meeting held at the church Monday afternoon. The Bible lesson drew from Corinthians and Philippians. The program used The Survey magazine and studied Home Mission work in Texas. The group observed the annual birthday tradition benefiting Foreign and Home Mission work with this year’s funds supporting Defense Service and schools for Mexican girls. A business session followed.
The Baptist Missionary Union held a Monday afternoon meeting at the Denalserville church with Mrs. Carl Patterson presiding. Opening hymn was The Morning Light Is Breaking, prayer by Mrs. J. S. Ward, and scripture meditation led by Mrs. Patterson. Reports from circle leaders and from Mrs. L. J. Cowart, secretary and treasurer, were presented.

Mrs Henry van Landingham spent last week in Atlanta for a State welfare meeting. She returned home with Mr Van Landingham from Ellaville. The Rev and Mrs M C Liddell traveled with their daughter Mrs Harry W Reynolds of La Grange.
